Questions to BeginWe want your project to go as smoothly as possible, which is why we’ve created this Video project checklist to assist you in gathering all of the necessary materials before work begins. This is what we’ll need from you in order to provide an accurate estimate.
All of these videos are shot differently, with varying crew sizes, and the amount of time allotted to the shoot is determined by the type of video.
Having a script and storyboard is one of the most efficient ways for us to quote your job and shoot your video efficiently. Storyboards will also help us decide whether we’ll be shooting in the studio, building sets, or looking for locations. If you don’t have a script and storyboard, let us know; we have incredibly talented people with whom we collaborate who can assist you and create them based on your direction.
Timelines can turn a simple production into a frantic and chaotic one. Knowing your deadlines and release dates will allow us to plan ahead of time by allocating the necessary production team members, allowing us to complete your project on time. Similarly, if we have access to your budget, we can tailor a solution to your specific requirements. There are numerous video production options available to us to help you achieve your goals. What is possible is determined by budgets.
The length of the video determines how long it takes to edit.
If so, do they provide design files, or do we have to create our own? We need to know this ahead of time so that we can accurately calculate budgets.
References allow us to see similar videos, images, and so on that give us an idea of the look you envision for the video. The more we see, the better we can hit what you’re looking for.
We will cast talent for your video if it requires it. If you already have talent, we can certainly work with them.
In general, by the time we have answers to the above questions, we’ll be able to point you in the right direction in terms of whether you’ll need stylists. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have someone in mind.
